About the Event

To date, workplaces have seen the convergence of five distinct generations: traditionalists, baby boomers, Generation X (Gen X), millennials, and Generation Z (Gen Z), encompassing individuals aged 16 to 75, as categorized by the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) across various decades. Each generation brings its own unique contributions to the workplace. Older generations often offer valuable industry knowledge and experience, while younger cohorts bring fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a forward-thinking approach.

HC3 (The Health Care Council of Chicago) proudly presents the next installment of the Future of Work Series, co-hosted by HC3's parent company, Third Horizon Strategies, in collaboration with the Corporate Coalition of Chicago’s Resiliency Network, this event will explore the intricacies of fostering inter-generational dynamics. During this event, we’ll have an opportunity to feature and hear from panelists representative of the various generations talk about their personal and professional experiences, as well as some of their organization’s strategies for cultivating supportive work environments, boosting job satisfaction, and aligning corporate goals with employees' personal values to optimize talent retention.

We extend our gratitude to the Chicago Community Trust, our event space partner, and to Third Horizon Strategies and the Corporate Coalition of Chicago's Resiliency Network for co-hosting this program with the Health Care Council of Chicago (HC3).
