About the Event
The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the way people live and work in ways that we could not have predicted prior to 2020. As businesses have shifted from managing through the pandemic’s crisis to adapting to the ongoing challenges of an endemic, leaders across the board are now turning their attention to matters other than COVID-19, attempting to incorporate sustainable strategies that build trust and invest in their current employees while endeavoring to fill vacant positions. HC3 is pleased to launch the Future of Work, a series of conversations to address how we leverage our resources to catalyze sustainable, durable workforce solutions that can influence and help rebuild Chicago’s health care ecosystem.
Workforce burnout has broad-reaching consequences, affecting patients and health care providers through diminished patient satisfaction, heightened medical errors, compromised care quality, increased absenteeism, decreased productivity, various physical and mental health challenges, and ultimately, strained social connections and diminished job satisfaction among health care professionals. Join us in person on Thursday, May 30, for the next session of HC3’s Future of Work—Scaling Solutions to Address Burnout, presented in collaboration with Rosecrance in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. This dialogue will showcase conversations with thought leaders and innovators in the health and social services sector who are delving into new technologies and strategies to enhance efficiency and mitigate burnout among the workforce.
