On Monday, November 25th, HC3 invited members and health care leadership from across the city to join us for a half day forum to address the potentially fatal future of Chicago's health care safety net. The goal of the forum was to share ideas and develop initiatives that can be pursued through the facilitation of a community-wide effort to generate real health care change.
The day’s discussions were aimed at aligning with Mayor Lightfoot’s and Governor Pritzker’s priorities for health and social reforms. By affiliating with the stated objectives of both administrations, we believe the government’s ability to organize the economics of the system in service of key reforms can be an anchor for the action required to discharge an actionable plan.
